The Protouch Golf Academy hosted Long Shot competition, which is the 1066 Skills Competition, on Sunday, February 23. Many junior golfers of the academy took part in the Long Shot Skills competition to show their skills.
The participants were divided into three categories, based on their age: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The participants in the Long Shot competition played two rounds, getting three shots each in every round.
Ruhi Nayar and Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ Category
In the Beginners’ category, Kiaan Chakraborty and Ruhi Nayar tied first after two simultaneous rounds. A tie-breaker was held, following which Ruhi Nayar won the Beginners’ category, and Kiaan was placed second.
Khushi Baid and Jayansh Lakhotia: Winner and Runner Up, Intermediate Category
Khushi Baid secured the first position in the Intermediate category followed by Jayansh Lakhotia, who earned the runner-up spot from the Intermediate category.
Sreyash Ghose: Winner, Advanced Category
Sreyash Ghose won the Advanced category.
The winners and the runners up of each category was felicitated with medals as the putting competition was wrapped up. The day concluded with excited and happy junior golfers flaunting their medals in pride.

All the participants were seen to be eager for participating in all the four skills competition that was organized on all four Sundays of the month, and win bits of appreciations and rewards for the gradual improvements they are gathering in their skills by regular practice and mentoring.
Winner of the Intermediate category, Khushi Baid said, “I wait for Sunday to come, as I know that we have Skills Competition taking place in the academy. It is fun to meet friends and participate in the competition with them”.
