The Protouch Golf Academy held a Bunker Shot competition on May 4, 2025, as part of its 1075 Protouch Junior Skills Competition. Young golfers competed in three categories—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—showcasing their skills and determination.

Playing two rounds, Kiaan Chakraborty won in the Beginner category.

Kiaan Chakraborty and Bishankho Das: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners Category.

Ruhi Nayar, Krishiv Agarwal and Bishankho Das tied for the second place. Ultimately, a play-off decided Bishankho Das, as the runner up in the Beginners’ category.

Neelarnab Ghosh: Winner, Intermediate Category.

Great competition was seen among the participants of the Intermediate category. Neelarnab Ghosh won the Intermediate category.

Ujaan Chakraborty and Jayansh Lakhotia: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Intermediate Category.

Ujaan Chakraborty and Jayansh Lakhotia, who finished second and third respectively.

Mannan Agarwal: Winner, Advanced Category.

Mannan Agarwal won the Advanced category.

Ujaan Chakraborty, runner up in the Intermediate category, said, “Today’s Skills Competition was very exciting. I came second, my brother Kiaan won. We played today after a long time, and going back home with prizes feel like an achievement. I never thought I would win the second place given my performance in the first round, but that is what golf is!”

Mannan Agarwal said, “I could have played better today. I have won, and I am happy. But I realize that it is important for me to improve more and get better scores”.

The day ended with all the junior golfers going home with their medals, eagerly waiting for Long Shot competition, 1076 Skills Competition, next Sunday, on May 11.
