The 1101 Bunker Skills Competition was organised by Protouch Golf Academy on Sunday, December 7.

Junior golfers, divided into three categories, namely, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced categories, based on their level of skills, participated in the skills competition with great enthusiasm.

Lavit Dhanuka: Winner, Beginners’ Category

Playing two rounds, novice Lavit Dhanuka won the Beginners’ category.

Noa Munshi and Raaisha Gupta: Runner Up and Second Runner Up: Beginners’ Category.

Novice golfers Noa Munshi and Raaisha Gupta finished second and third in the Beginners’ category.

Aativeer Jain: Winner, Intermediate Category.

Aativeer Jain won the Intermediate category with 18 points, the top score of the day.

Ujaan Chakraborty: Runner Up, Intermediate Category.

Ujaan Chakraborty followed with 14 points, the second highest score of the day, to finish second in the Intermediate category.

Jayansh Lakhotia: Second Runner Up, Intermediate Category.

Jayansh Lakhotia finished third in the Intermediate category.

Aativeer Jain, winner in the Intermediate category, said, “I am so happy today because I played so well. I hope to make a winning streak now”.

Noa Munshi, runner up in the Beginners’ category, said, “I was not willing to participate today as I am not good in bunker shot. Turns out that unless you practice, your game can’t get better”.

All the junior golfers went home, with smiles on their faces, and flaunting their medals, excited to take part in the 1102 Putting Skills Competition, which is scheduled to be held on Sunday, December 21.
