This is the second edition of this competition. Mr. Mayukh Ray, son of the Late Mr. Mahitosh Ray, said, ” My beloved father, Mr. Mahitosh Ray, was a very avid golfer himself. He used to look forward to his 18 holes every weekend, and he used to have a special hole called the 19th hole, which was just refreshments where he’d hang around with his friends. He was always very encouraging of junior and amateur golf, and I think this sport has a long way to go, even today, with all the sponsors coming in, it is not as popular as cricket. He wanted the sport to really grow, and I’m happy that Protouch has enabled us to have an opportunity to do something in his memory.”
