Birdies for Breakfast Pool series is an initiative taken by Arjun Malik Golf  to organise tournaments for pros and amateurs playing on higher levels. The one day events are conducted in different formats like stroke play, best ball, scramble , shamble and more to keep it interesting and competitive as well. The top performers are entitled to payouts from the pool.

The off season can get monotonous and boring for the professional Golfers as there are no organised events to compete in. The players get accustomed to playing on the course without any real competitive setting and pressure. The Birdies for Breakfast pool series was created to fill in this vaccum. The players are entitled to prize money in the form of pool payouts. All the participants deposit an amount to enrol in the tournaments and the pool collected gets divided in different proportions to the winners. The number of player or teams entitled to prize money depends on the number of entries.

The first two events saw great level of enthusiasm and participation from the top players in the Delhi NCR region. The first tournament was played on a stroke play format whereas the second was a 2 man team scramble. The field had players like Honey Baisoya, Abhinav Lohan, Karan Pratap Singh, Kshitij Kaul, Saptak Talwar, Arjun Sharma, Vinamra Anand, Arjun Prasad, Saurav Rathi and many more. The first two events were held at Classic Golf & Country Club and the third one will be held at Jaypee Wishtown. The plan is to take these events to different parts of India and keep the players motivated in the off season.
