The Protouch Golf Academy organised the 1097 Chip-Putt skills competition as a part of the October Skills Competition on Sunday, October 26.
Junior golfers of the Academy, divided into three categories, based on the level of their skill, namely, Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced categories, participated in the Chip-Putt skills competition.

Kiaan Chakraborty and Ruhi Nayar: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.

In the Beginners category, Kiaan Chakraborty won his category, while Ruhi Nayar followed closely to finish second.

Jayansh Lakhotia and Ujaan Chalraborty: Winner and Runner Up, Intermediate Category.

In the Intermediate category, Jayansh Lakhotia secured first place after competing in two rounds of tiebreakers against Ujaan Chakraborty. The two competitors were evenly matched, leading them to a third round of play-off, a closest-to-the-pin competition to determine the winner.
Ultimately, Jayansh won his category, and Ujaan Chakraborty finished in second place.

Vir Nayar and Ainesh Roy Chowdhury: Third and Fourth, Intermediate Category.

Ainesh Roy Choudhary and Vir Nayar tied for third place, but this tie was resolved in a single round of play-off, which resulted in Vir Nayar finishing third. Ainesh Roy Chowdhury, who finished fourth, showed consistent performance over the two rounds and even in the play-off, and was also rewarded.

Anika Shah: winner, Advanced Category.

In the Advanced Category, Anika Shah took first place with just 4 shots over 2 rounds. In fact, Anika scored the best among all the participants for the day.
All the children returned home with smiling faces, flaunting their medals, waiting eagerly for the series of Skills Competitions that are going to be held in the month of November.
