The fifth leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour – Protouch Amateur Masters 2025 began in the prestigious Tollygunge Club on May 21. Over 30 amateur and senior golfers teed off at 8:00 am, to start the first round filled with great enthusiasm and camaraderie.
Shooting a 3-over 73, Abhishek Mitra leads the Amateur as well as the Mid Amateur category.
Sk. Zahir and Suraj Sahu shot a 74, and lay tied second in the Amateur category, followed by Arjun Mondal, who lay fourth at a score of 76 in the Amateur category.
Sushil Kumar (84) and Abhijit Biswas (92) lay second and third respectively in the Mid-Amateur category.
Col. Shreekant Tiwari shot an 82, and leads the Senior Category.
Ravindra Singhania leads the Super Senior category, and lay second in the senior category with a first round score of 110.

The IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathegolf, and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
