The Protouch Amateur Masters 2025, fifth leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, which was being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, from May 21, concluded on May 22.
Over 30 amateur, mid-amateur, senior, and super senior golfers took part in the tournament, and played enthusiastically, displaying their golfing skills and great camaraderie.
Overnight leader in the Amateur category, Abhishek Mitra scored a 75 in the second round, and with a total score of 148, clinched victory in the Amateur, as well as in the Mid-Amateur categories.
Jashan Bhaarat Shah (79-81), and Sk. Zahir (74-80), followed Abhishek Mitra, and finished second and third in the Amateur category with overall scores of 150 and 154 respectively.
Sushil Kumar (84-83) finished second in the Mid-Amateur category at an overall score of 167, followed by Abhijit Biswas (92-89), who finished third in the Mid-Amateur category at an overall score of 181.
Overnight leader in the Senior category, Col. Shreekant Tiwari (82-78) won the Senior category with a total score of 160, followed by Ravindra Singhania (110-100), who finished second in the Senior category with a total score of 210.
Ravindra Singhania also won the Super Senior category with a total score of 210.
