Ahaan Gupta wins the sixth leg of the IGU East Zone Feeder Tour – CFL Junior Open 2025, which was being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, from June 11 to June 12.
Overnight leader Ahaan Gupta had a difficult first round. Ahaan shot a 74 after a first round’s 72, and won the A&B Boys category at an overall score of 146.
Dishan Ghosh (73-74) chased Ahaan, and with an overall score of 147, finished second in the A&B Boys category.
Arkaprovo Choudhury (76-78) finished third in A&B Boys at an overall score of 154.
Arkaprovo Choudhury also won category B Boys, followed by Rayan Sao (74-82), and Aaditya Mangalam Trivedi (76-84), who finished second and third in B Boys at overall scores of 156 and 160 respectively.
Overnight leader in A&B Girls, Debosmita Das (100-95), won the A&B Girls category at an overall score of 195.
Netr Shah: Winner, C Boys.
Overnight leader in C Boys, Netr Shah (92-94) won C Boys at an overall score of 186, followed by Ayushman Sana (97-92), and Shaurya Veer Saboo (106-90), who played better second rounds, and finished second and third in C Boys, at total scores of 189 and 196 respectively.
Nahida Parvin: Winner, C Girls.
Overnight leader in C Girls, Nahida Parvin (79-85) had a difficult second round, and at a total score of 164, won C Girls. Julinka Roy Chowdhury (88-85) and Vaanyaa Rustagi (97-90) followed, finishing second and third in C Girls, at total scores of 173 and 187 respectively.
Ayaan Mimani: Winner, D Boys.
Overnight leader in D Boys, Ayaan Mimani (89-79), played a better second round, and won his category at a total score of 168. While Dhruv D. Patodia (96-94) finished second in D Boys at an overall score of 190, Taksh Pandey and Priansh Dhandhania tied third in D Boys.
Ojaswini Sarkar: Winner, D Girls.
While overnight leader in D Girls, Ojaswini Sarkar topped her category, Swara Singh and Medhavi Kaul finished second and third in D Girls respectively.
Ayaansh Prasad: Winner, E Boys.
The participants of the E Boys, and the Special category played a total of 18 holes over two consecutive rounds. Overnight leader in E Boys, Ayaansh Prasad (45-40), and Ankit Mondol (47-38) tied for the first place at an overall score of 85. An exciting play-off followed, in which Ayaansh won, and ultimately, he won category E Boys.
Ankit Mondol finished second in E Boys, followed by Reshab Roy, who finished third.
Rajdeep Paul: Winner, Special category (right-hand side).
Rajdeep Paul (48-50) won the Special category at an overall score of 98.
