Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra comes through as the champion of the IGU Northern India Amateur Golf Championship 2026, courtesy a solid final round, which was being held at the Panchkula Golf Club, from March 3 to March 6.

Bengal golfer Anshul Mishra (72-70-71-69) improved his performance, and shot a 3-under 69, his personal best over the four rounds. At a total score of 6-under 282, Anshul clinched victory in the IGU Northern India Amateur Golf Championship 2026.

Overnight leader over the second and third rounds, Chandigarh golfer Harjai Milkha Singh (73-66-69-76) had a difficult fourth round, in which he shot a 76. At a total score of 4-under 284, Harjai finished second.
Uttar Pradesh Vinamra Anand (73-74-67-74), whose 5-under 67 was the top score for the third round, had a difficult 74 in the fourth round. With an even par total score of 288, Vinamra finished third.
Punjab’s Vishavjeet Singh (75-71-73-71) and Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla (74-76-71-71) finished fourth and fifth with total scores of 290 and 292.
