The fifth leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour – Protouch Junior Masters 2025 began in the prestigious Tollygunge Club on May 21. Over 40 junior golfers teed off at 8:00 am, to start the first round filled with great enthusiasm and camaraderie.
Arkaprovo Chaudhury shot a 5-under 75 in the first round, and is leading the Combined A&B Boys Category, as well B Boys.
Dishan Ghosh and Aryaman Thapa lay second and third, chasing Arkoprovo at first round scores of 77 and 78, respectively.
Aranyak Chakraborty chased Arkaprovo in B Boys and lay second at a score of 79, followed by Aaditya M. Trivedi, who lay third in B Boys at a score of 83.
At a score of 88, Armaan Bhoopal leads C Boys followed by Netr Shah and Shaurya Veer Saboo with scores of 89 and 92 respectively.
Julinka Roy Chowdhury leads Category C Girls with a score of 80, followed by Nandini Rathee, who lay second in C girls with a score of 95.
Ayaan Mimani shot a 90 and leads D Boys followed by Aryaman Rungta and Dhruv D. Patodia, who lay second and third in D Boys at scores of 99 and 100.
In D Girls, Ojaswini Sarkar leads with a score of 106, followed by Tashya Shroff and Aarohi Trivedi, who lay second and third with scores of 115 and 119 respectively.
The participants of E Boys played nine holes in the first round. Kaveer Tulsyan leads E Boys at score of 43, followed by Reshab Roy, who lay second in E Boys at a first round score of 61.
