Arkaprovo Chaudhury wins the Protouch Junior Masters 2025, the fifth leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, which was being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, on May 21 and May 22.

Over 40 budding golfers took part in the tournament, and displayed great golfing skills over the two consecutive rounds.

The participants were divided into 7 age categories, namely:
i. A&B Boys
ii. B Boys
iii. C Boys
iv. C Girls
v. D Boys
vi. D Girls
vii. E Boys

Overnight leader in A&B Boys, as well as B Boys categories, Arkaprovo Chaudhury (75-80) scored an overall of 155, and clinched victory in the A&B Boys, as well as B Boys categories.

Ribhav Gupta (79-77) chased Arkaprovo, and finished second in A&B Boys at an overall score of 156, followed by Aranyak Chakraborty (79-78), who finished third in A&B Boys, at an overall score of 157.

Aranyak finished second in B Boys, chasing Arkaprovo, followed by Krishiv Rungta (77-80), who finished third in B Boys at a total score of 161, by playing a better second round. Aaditya M. Trivedi (83-78), who also finished with a total score of 161, finished fourth in B Boys.

Overnight leader in C Boys, Armaan Bhoopal (88-87) won the C Boys at a total score of 175, followed by Netr Shah (89-100), and Wrichik Mukherjee (93-97), who finished second and third on C Boys at total scores of 189 and 190 respectively.

Overnight leader in C Girls, Julinka Roy Chowdhury (80-85), won the C Girls, at an overall score of 165, followed by Nandini Rathee (95-86), who finished second in C Girls at an overall score of 181.

With an overall score of 177, overnight leader in D Boys, Ayaan Mimani (90-87), won his category. Dhruv D. Patodia (100-105), and Jayansh Lakhotia (109-99) chased Ayaan, and finished second and third in D Boys, at overall scores of 205 and 208 respectively.

With an overall score of 204, overnight leader Ojaswini Sarkar (106-98) won D Girls, followed by Tashya Shroff (115-113), and Aarshi Trivedi (119-117), who finished second and third in D Girls with scores of 228 and 236 respectively.

The participants of E Boys played 18 holes over two consecutive rounds. Playing 18 holes, Kaveer Tulsyan (43-43) won E Boys with a total score of 87, followed by Reshab Roy (61-52), who was placed second in E Boys at a total score of 113.

The IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy.
