Armitage continue as the leader after the second round of the Ras Al Khaimah Championship 2025, which is being held at the Al Hamra Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, from January 23 to January 26.
Overnight leader Marcus Armitage from England, had a tough second round. Though he initiated his game with a 9-uner 63, he scored a 3-under 69 on the second round, and at a second day total of 12-under 132, continued in the lead.
English golfer Daniel Brown, who finished the first round tied fifth with a team of golfers that included Thobrjon Olesen, Romain Langasque, Manuel Elvira, Shaun Norris, and Freddy Schott, rose in the leaderboard with an 8-under 64 on the second round, and finished second, tied with Spanish golfer Alejandro Del Rey, who finished tied third on the first round, at a total score of 10-under 134.
American golfer Johannes Veerman shot an 8-under 64 in the second round and at a second-round total of 8-under 136, finished fourth.
Indian golfer Veer Ahlawat rose in the leaderboard. Playing a 3-under 72, Ahlawat finished the second round tied eleventh with a team of golfers Joel Moscatel, David Micheluzzi, Joe Dean, and Shaun Norris.
All eyes are set in anticipation for the third round, that is scheduled to be held on January 25.
