Arshvant Srivastava took lead at the second round of the IGU Advait Luthra Memorial National Qualifier 2026, which is being held at the Classic Golf Resort, from February 17 to February 20.
In the second round, Uttar Pradesh golfer Arshvant Srivastava shot a 2-under 70, following a 3-under 69 on his first round. At a two-day score of 5-under 139, Arshvant tops the second round leaderboard.
Overnight leader Vihaan Jain, who shot a 4-under 68 in the first round, shot an even par score of 72 today, and at a two-day score of 4-under 140, chased Arshvant to lay second.
Maharashtra’s Shlok Manish Dabir (76-66), who played a wonderful 6-under 66 today, and Shashank Sachin Gadre (71-72) lay third and fourth at two-day scores of 142 and 143 respectively.
Arshvant Srivastava said, “The tournament is very competitive and field is very large. I had similar experience of playing in large field at U. S Kids Golf World Championship at Pinehurst, NC, USA.Such qualifiers help in preparing for big tournaments in future. The first day was quite challenging due to rain and that needed adapting to green speed. Today, I focused on my pre routine and kept discipline in every shot. This has been leading me quiet well till now. Let’s hope for the best for the round to come”.
