The seventh leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour – the Kolkata Masters 2025 began on August 6 at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata.
Despite the rainy weather and soaked course condition, over 34 junior golfers teed off on august 6 with enthusiasm.
Aryaveer Agrawal and Aaditya Mangalam Trivedi jointly lead Category A&B Boys Combined, as well Category B Boys at a score of 76.
Arghya Shah followed, and lay third in A&B Boys Combined Category at a score of 78.
Arkoprovo Choudhury lay third in B Boys, and fifth in A&B Boys Combined category at a score of 79.
At a score of 82, Ayaan Mimani leads Category C Boys, followed by Shaurya Veer Saboo and Ayushman Sana, who lay second and third in the C Boys, at scores of 93 and 102.
At a score of 82, Nahida Parvin leads C Girls, followed by Julinka Roy Chowdhury and Vaanyaa Rustagi, who lay second and third in category C Girls, at scores of 86 and 100 resppectively.
In Category D Boys, Ujaan Chakraborty leads at a score of 107, followed by Aativeer Jain and Vivaan Surana, who lay second and third in Category D Boys, with scores of 113 and 122 respectively.
Aarya Jhunjhunwala leads category D Girls at a score of 97, followed by Aarohi Trivedi, who lay second in D girls at a score of 117.
The participants of E Boys & Girls played 9 holes on the first round. While Kiaan Chakraborty leads E Boys at a score of 52, Advika Agarwal leads E Girls at a score of 44.
The Kolkata Junior Masters 2025 is a WAGR ranking event, the dates of which are from August 6 to August 8.
