Indian golfer Arjun Atwal finishes the first round tied 46th in the 2025 PGA Tour Champions Qualifying Tournament, being held at the TPC Scottsdale, Arizona, from December 3 to December 6.
Hitting multiple birdies in the back nine, Atwal finished the first round of the Tour with an impressive score of 1-over 72 and was tied 46th along with a team of great golfers that included French golfer Raphael Jacquelin, American golfers Ted Purdy, Craig Bowden, Scott Shingler, Matt Mitchell, Mark Walker and Jay Jurecic, Canadian golfer Danny King, American golfer David Mathis and Omar Uresti.
American golfer Dicky Pride and Danish golfer Søren Kjeldsen scored a 7-under 64 and finished the first round as joint leaders of the day. Freddie Jacobson finished third with a 6-under 65 on the first round, followed by Jason Schultz, who scored a 5-under 66 after the first round, finishing third.
