The second edition of the Mahitosh Ray Junior Open 2025, the 8th Leg of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour, organised at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, in memory of the late Mr. Mahitosh Ray, comes to an end, with the final round being played on September 11. Over 56 junior golfers took part in the tournament.

Biswakrit Ghosh: Winner, A&B Boys.
In the A&B Boys category, Biswakrit Ghosh (77-74) clinches victory with a total of 151. Aditya M. Trivedi (82-78) finished second, scoring 160. Ribhav Gupta (84-83) finished third with a score of 167.
In the A&B Girls category, Ananya Roy (81-82) finished first, scoring 163. Debosmita Das (83-90) was placed second, with an overall score of173.

Naina Dinodiya: Winner, B Girls.
Naina Dinodiya (93-98) won B Girls with an overall score of 191. She also finished third in A&B Girls.

Aditya Mangalam Trivedi
Aditya M. Trivedi (82-78) finished first, scoring 160 in the B Boys category. Andrew Baid (83-89) was placed second with a score of 172. With an overall score of 188, Subham Das (95-93) finished third in B Boys.

Shaurya Veer Saboo: Winner, C Boys.
Shauryaver Saboo (90-86) won the C Boys category, scoring a total of 176.

Julinka Roy Chowdhury: Winner, C Girls.
In the C Girls category, Julinka Roy Chowdhury (79-80) came first, scoring 159. Nahida Parvin (80-85) finished second, scoring a total of 165. Vaanyaa Rustagi (91-89) finished third with a total of 180.

Dhruv D. Patodia: Winner, D Boys.
In the D Boys category, Dhruv D. Patodia (93-88) came first with a total of 181. Jayansh Lakhotia (102-102) came second, scoring a total of 204. In third place, Ujaan Chakraborty (110-97) scored 207.

Medhavi Ashwini Kaul: Winner, D Girls.
Medhavi Ashwini Kaul (106-101) came first with a total of 181 in the D Girls category. Arohi Trivedi (114-102) came second, scoring a total of 216.
The participants of E Boys and E Girls played a total of eighteen holes over two rounds.

Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner, E Boys.
Playing eighteen holes, Kiaan Chakraborty (49-47) came first in the E Boys category with an overall score of 96.

Advika Agarwal: E Girls.
In the E Girls category, Advika Agarwal (50-47) finished first with a total of 97.
This is a WAGR ranking event; the final round will be conducted tomorrow.
Mrs. Madhulekha Ray, wife of Lt. Mahitosh Ray, who also graced the prize distribution ceremony, said, “Both my son and my late husband have been avid golfers. Though I don’t play golf, it’s very nice to see these young children and golfers participating in this tournament, and it has made me very happy to see so many golfers being associated with the tournament held in memory of my late husband. What an honour to his golfing spirit!”
