Biswakrit Ghosh, Hredaan Raj Bihani, Krishiv Rungta, Shaurush Sen, Kiaan Chakraborty, Anaahat Bindra, Samaira Chitlangia, Nahida Parvin and Vaanyaa Rustagi win their respective categories in the Shubhankar Sharma All India Junior Invitational 2024, the East Zone Qualifiers, which was held in the Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, on December 3, 2024.

With a score of 4-over 74, Biswakrit Ghosh won Category A Boys. He was chased by Shaurya Bhatnagar who finished second at a total score of 84. Aryaman Thapa scored a total of 87, and finished second runner up in A Boys.

With a score of 4-over 74, Hredaan Raj Bihani won Category B Boys. With a score of 77, Arghya Shah finished second and Sataj Singh Chandok finished third with a score of 82.

In an exciting play off between Wrichik Mukherjee and Krishiv Rungta, Krishiv won Category C Boys with a score of 88, followed by Wrichik, who finished second. Vivaan Jawanpuria finished third in C Boys with a score of 94 on a count back against Arkoprovo Chouudhury.

In D Boys, Shaurish Sen won at a total score of 87. Ayaan Mimani finished second in D Boys with a total score of 93 against Shaurya Veer Saboo on countback. Shaurya Veer finished third.

The participants of E Boys played 9 holes only on December 3, after which Kiaan Chakraborty finished first in E Boys with a total score of 53.

Anaahat Bindra won Category A&B Girls with a total score of 82, followed by Dhanvi Patel, who finished second with a total of 93. Debosmita Das finished third with a total of 95.

With a total of 86, Samaira Chitlangia won B Girls, followed by Ishikha Bansal and Akansha Jaiswal who finished second and third at a total score of 94 and 116 respectively.

Nahida Parvin won Category C Girls with a total sore of 90. In pursuit was Julinka Roy Chowdhury who scored a 95 and finished second. Myra Kaur Chandok scored a 118 to finish third in C Girls.

With a total of 100 and 110, Vaanyaa Rustagi and Hissi Besra finished first and second respectively in D Girls.

The Shubhankar Sharma All India Junior Invitational 2024 East Zone Qualifiers is a prestigious event from which 3 boys and 2 girls from each category, except E Boys and E Girls will be qualifying for the Tour Championship that is scheduled to be held from December 17 to December 20 in ITC Classic.
