The prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata is all set to organize the fourth leg of the IGU East Zone Feeder Tour – Breathegolf Junior Open 2025, on April 30 and May 1.

With the practice round scheduled on April 29, the enthusiasm among the budding golfers is built high, as they prepare to display their golfing skills in the upcoming two days.

The event is going to see a participation of over 40 young and budding golfers. There are 9 age categories:
i. A&B Boys (15-17 years)
ii. B Boys (13-14 years)
iii. B Girls (13-14 years)
iv. C Boys (11-12 years)
v. C Girls (11-12 years)
vi. D Boys (9-10 years)
vii. D Girls (9-10 years)
viii. E Boys (7-8 years)
ix. E Girls (7-8 years)

There is also a special category.

While the participants of the A&B Boys and Girls, B Boys and Girls, C Boys and Girls, and D Boys and Girls will play 36 holes, the participants of the E Boys and Girls, and Special category will play a total of 18 holes over two consecutive rounds.

 

The Breathegolf Junior Open is a qualifier for the JAGA Invitational Tournament is going to be held at Dubai, from May 23 to May 25. Categories A Boys & Girls, B Boys and Girls, and C Boys ad Girls will be eligible to take part in the JAGA Invitational Tournament. Winners in the A Boys and Girls, B Boys and Girls, and C Boys and Girls will qualify for a fee exemption in the JAGA camps, that are going to be held in Thailand, India and Vietnam campuses, and for the JAGA Invitational Tournament, Dubai

JAGA, the Junior Asian Golf Academy, the first full time preparatory junior golf program, with branches in Thailand, Vietnam, India, and UAE. The residential students not only get good academic facilities, but also a scope to upgrade their game by training under renowned international coaches. Graduates from JAGA get a scope of pursuing their dreams at the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which is ranked among the best 4 universities of the world.

The IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy.
