The Protouch Golf Academy hosted bunker shot competition, which is the 1073 Skills Competition, on Sunday, April 20. Many junior golfers of the academy took part in the Bunker Shot Skills competition to show their sand-play skills.
The participants were divided into three categories, based on their age: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. The participants in the bunker shot competition played two rounds.

Kiarra Bachhawat and Krishiv Agarwal: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ Category

Playing two rounds, Kiarra Bachhawat won the Beginners’ Category, followed by Krishiv Agarwal, who finished second.

Neelarnab Ghosh: Winner, Intermediate Category

The participants of the Intermediate category had a tough competition. Playing two rounds, Neelarnab Ghosh won the Intermediate category.
However, the runner up in the Advanced category was decided through a play-off between Jayansh Lakhotia and Ainesh Roy Chowdhury, who tied for the second place. After the play off, Jayansh Lakhotia finished second, followed by Ainesh Roy Chowdhury, who finished third.

Sreyash Ghose: Winner, Advanced Category

Sreyash Ghose won the Advanced category.
The day ended with the prize distribution for all the winners and runners up over the three different categories.
Neelarnab Ghosh, winner in the Intermediate category, said, “I am so happy to have won. It is so exciting to be a part of these competitions, because you always have some or the other prize to win and go back home with a happy heart”.
Sreyash Ghose, winner of the Advanced category, said, “I am very happy. Though a tough competition is always expected from my peers in the Advanced category, I am glad that I am always able to justify my game, and play my best”.

All the participants were seen eager to be participating in the 1074 Skills Competition, which is the Chipping competition, that is going to be held on Sunday, April 27.
