The Protouch Golf Academy had organized a bunker shot skills competition, the 1054th skills event on September 22. This skills competition marked the end of the junior Skills Competition for the month of September. Many junior golfers of different age groups, divided into three categories, namely, Beginners’, Intermediate and Advanced, participated in the Bunker shot competition.
The junior golfers were very eager to put up tough competition against each other. Among the Beginners, Aayansh Prasad secured the first position, followed by Jayansh Lakhotia and Yugaansh Agarwal, who secured the second and the third positions respectively.
Shaurish Sen maintained his position from the 1053rd Long Shot skills competition that happened exactly a week ago, and secured the first position in today’s skill display from the Intermediate category. Anika Shah secured the second position, and Vir Nayar, who was the first runner up in the Long Shot skill, came third today.
Aranyak Chakraborty secured the first position in the Advanced category, followed by Mehak Lohan, who secured the second position from the same group.
The day ended with awarding the winners and the runners up of the four skills competition, namely chipping, putting, Long Shot and Bunker Shot respectively. Winners of the Junior Skills Competition(August) were also rewarded today.
The day concluded with excited and happy junior golfers flaunting their medals in pride. All the participants were seen to be eager for participating in the skills competitions that are to be held by the Academy in the days to come and win bits of appreciations and rewards for the gradual improvements they are gathering in their skills by regular practice and mentoring.
