Chaitanya Pandey rises on the leaderboard by making his move on the moving day of the IGU North East Amateur Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Jorhat Gymkhana Club, from December 2 to December 5.

Chaitanya Pandey (72-71-68) shot a 3-under 68 in the third round, his personal best by far in the tournament, and at a three-day score of 2-under 211, tops the leaderboard.

West Bengal lad Anshul Mishra (74-68-72), who lay tied third with Jharkhand’s Bimal Singh Sardar and Uttar Pradesh’s Sukhman Singh at the end of the second round, played a tough third round, shooting a 1-over 72, and at a three-day total score of 1-over 214, lay tied second with Haryana golfer Ritesh (74-72-68), who shot a 3-under 68 in the third round, his personal best in the tournament.

Overnight leader, Haryana golfer Ribhav Verma (74-66-75) played a difficult third round, shooting a 75, and at a three-day score of 215, Ribhav lay tied fourth with Delhi golfer Deepak Yadav (70-71-74) and Jharkhand golfer Bimal Singh Sardar (70-72-73).
