The Protouch Golf Academy hosted the Chipping competition, which is the 1080 Skills Competition, on Sunday, June 15. Many junior golfers took part in the Chipping competition to display their skills of chipping.
The participants were divided into three categories, based on their level of skills and age: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. All the participants played two rounds.
Kiaan Chakraborty and Rishi Varshney: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ category.
Playing two rounds, Kiaan Chakraborty won the Beginners’ category, followed by Rishi Varshney, who finished second.
Ayaansh Prasad and Ujaan Chakraborty: Winner and runner up, Intermediate category.
Ayaansh Prasad won the Intermediate category with the highest points gained over two rounds. Ujaan Chakraborty finished second in the Intermediate category.
Ayaansh said, “I didn’t expect to win, and most importantly, I didn’t expect to score the highest points of the day. I am so so happy”.
Rishi Varshney said, “My chipping skills are weak, but after today, I can say I have improved a lot. All thanks to the Protouch Golf Academy for organizing these Skills Competitions every week”.
The day ended with all the junior golfers going home with their medals, eagerly waiting for the Putting competition, 1081 Skills Competition, which is going to be held next Sunday, on June 22.
