The Protouch Golf Academy organized the 1096 Chipping in the Ring skills competition as a part of the October Skills Competition on Sunday, October 12.
Junior golfers of the Academy, divided into three categories, based on the level of their skill, namely, Beginners’, Intermediate and Advanced category, participated in the Chipping in the Ring skills competition.

Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner, Beginners’ Category.
In the Beginners’ category, Kiaan Chakraborty, maintaining his winning streak for the last few months, secured win after playing two rounds.

Shaurya and Saanvi Agarwal: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.
Novices, Shaurya Agarwal finished second, followed by Saanvi Agarwal, who finished third in the Beginners’ category.

Khushi Baid: Winner, Intermediate Category.
In the Intermediate category, Khushi Baid secured win. Incidentally, Khushi had the top score among all the participants.

Ujaan Chakraborty and Ainesh Roy Chowdhury: Runner Up and Second Runner Up
Intermediate Category.
Ujaan Chakraborty and Ainesh Roy Chowdhury finished second and third in the Intermediate category.

Akshansh Modi and Neelarnab Ghosh: Winner and Runner Up, Advanced Category.
Meanwhile, Akshansh Modi, who participated in the Skills Competition for the first time, won the Advanced category. Neelarnab Ghosh finished second.
Akshansh Modi, winner in the Advanced category, said, “This is my first time participating in the Skills Competition. Honestly, I didn’t want to take part, my coach, Sreenjoy sir, asked me to take part and so I did. But the competition was very tough today. It feels great to win, that too the first prize for my very first attempt”.
Khushi Baid, winner in the Intermediate category, said, “Oh! I have been waiting for this day. I was getting tired of securing the third or the second place always. I feel so happy to have won after so long. Looking forward to maintain a winning streak, just like Ujaan has been doing for the past few months”.
All the children returned home with smiling faces, and flaunting their medals, waiting for the 1097 Putting Skills Competition, which will be organized on Sunday.
