The Protouch Golf Academy held the 1093 Chipping in the Ring Skills competition, as part of September’s skills competition, on September 21.
Junior golfers who participated in the skills competition, were divided into three categories, based on the level of their skill, and displayed great chipping skills.

Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner, Beginners’ Category.
In the Beginners’ category, Kiaan Chakraborty, Shaurya Agarwal and Saanvi Agarwal tied for the first place after playing two rounds. In the play off round that followed, Kiaan won the Beginners’ category.

Shaurya Agarwal and Saanvi Agarwal: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Beginners’ Category.
Novices Shaurya and Saanvi Agarwal played another two rounds of play-offs. Finally, Shaurya Agarwal finished second in the Beginners’ category, followed by Saanvi Agarwal, who finished third.

Ujaan Chakraborty: Winner, Intermediate Category.
Maintaining his winning streak for the past few months of the Sunday Skills Competition, Ujaan Chakraborty won in the Intermediate category. Incidentally, Ujaan scored the highest among all the participants playing in the three different groups.

Jayansh Lakhotia and Khushi Baid: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Intermediate Category.
Jayansh Lakhotia finished second in the Intermediate category, followed by Khushi Baid, who finished third.

Anika Shah and Neelarnab Ghosh: Winner and Runner Up, Advanced Category.
In the Advanced category, Anika Shah won after playing two rounds. Neelarnab Ghosh, on the other hand, finished second.
Neelarnab Ghosh, runner up in the Advanced category, said, “I have not been able to take part in the Skills Competition for a few weeks now due to academic pressure, and now I see how these small things actually affect my game. But it is good to have a setback at times, now, I will make my game even better and put up better competition”.
Khushi Baid, second runner up in the Intermediate category, said, “I have not been able to win for a long time now. This makes me sad, but the best part is that my game has improved, and I hope to play better in the next skills competition, and possibly win the gold medals”.
All the junior golfers went home, flaunting their medals, eager to take part in the 1094 Long Shot Skills Competition, which is going to be held by the Protouch Golf Academy, on Sunday, September 28.
