Danish Leads After The First Round Of The Tamil Nadu Amateur Golf Championship 2025

Danish Verma takes lead after the first round of the Tamil Nadu Amateur Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Coimbatore Golf Club, from March 4 to March 7.

Punjab’s Danish hit a 3-under 69 on the first day, and took lead over his competition, Veer Ganapathy, winner of the IGU Telangana Amateur Golf Championship 2025, who lay second at a score of 2-under 70.

A team of golfers including Karnataka’s Siddharth Paruthi, Telangana’s Puthuru Raj Kumar, Gujarat’s Ishaan Chawhan, and Uttar Pradesh’s Sukhman Singh lay tied third at a score of 1-under 71.

West Bengal golfer Aryav Shah lay tied seventh with a team of golfers including Delhi’s Ranveer Mitroo, Maharashtra’s Arkin Patel, and Delhi’s Yash Chaudhury, at an even par score.

The second round of the IGU Tamil Nadu Amateur Golf Championship 2025 is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 5.
