The grand finale of the AVT Champions Tour 2025–26 concluded in spectacular fashion at the prestigious Jaypee Greens from 9th to 11th March 2026, bringing together top senior golfers from across the country for the ultimate leg of the season. The tournament determined the Champion Golfer of the Year across various age categories as well as the overall winner, based on points accumulated by players throughout the tour season.

*Recognition of the Seven Pillars of Indian Golf Coaching*
A special highlight of the prize distribution ceremony was the felicitation of the seven pillars of the Indian coaching system, honoured for their immense contribution to the growth of Indian golf. The distinguished coaches recognised were Ajay Gupta, Indrajit Bhalotia, Jaskirat Singh Grewal, Karan Bindra, Nonita Lal Qureshi, Romit Bose, and Vijay Divecha.
With their collective expertise and vision, these stalwarts came together to establish the National Golf Academy of India, aimed at training and certifying golf coaches across the country and further strengthening the coaching ecosystem in India.

*David D’Souza Dominates Finale*
The standout performer of the tournament was David D’Souza, who delivered a sensational performance with a two-day total of 150 to claim the Noida leg championship. His victory also secured him the coveted AVT Champions Tour 2025–26 Overall Champion Golfer of the Year title.

Hot on his heels was Ashish Kapoor, who finished as the runner-up in the Overall category with a total score of 151 on countback, after an impressive performance across the event.

Ladies’ Competition
In the women’s division, Paromita Mukherjee produced a commendable performance to win the Gross category with a total score of 165, while Pooja Ahluwalia finished runner-up with 168.

Winner – Vikram Bhagwan (147, countback)
Runner-up – Sukhbir Singh (147)

Handicap 10–18:
Winner – Pramod Modgil (144)
Runner-up – Suresh Janardhanan (145); who also had a hole in one on the 7th hole during the final round

*Champion Golfer of the Year – Category Winners*
The Champion Golfer of the Year titles across different categories were awarded based on the cumulative performance throughout the tour season:

Ladies: Paromita Mukherjee

70+ years: Vijay Kumar

65–69 years: Dhananjay Date

60–64 years: Sandeep Singh Sandhu

55–59 years: Kim Sanggun (Category in memory of a regular golfer of the tour, late Jaideep Singh)

50–54 years: Ashish Kapoor

Each category champion will receive reimbursement of up to ₹1 lakh to participate in a senior golf event overseas.

*Overall Champion Golfer of the Year*
The Overall Champion Golfer of the Year title was claimed by David D’Souza, whose victory at the Noida finale sealed the prestigious honour. As part of the award, he will receive the opportunity to represent India at the British Amateur senior golf event.

*Looking Ahead*
As the AVT Champions Tour 2025–26 season concludes with memorable performances and remarkable camaraderie, players now look forward to the next season, which will hold special significance as part of the centenary celebrations of the AVT Group.
The next event of the tour is scheduled to take place at the Karnataka Golf Association Course from 8th to 10th June 2026.

The AV Thomas Group served as the Tour Sponsor for the 2025–26 season, with Jaypee Greens as the venue partner for the finale.
Wave City and HDFC Mutual Fund came on board as event co-sponsors. Tanquery was the official liquor partner for this event. The tour was organised by SING , with IGN News as the exclusive online media partner, while Protouch Sports served as the official event manager.
