The second round of the Tolly Cup 2024, that began on December 12 at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, concluded on December 13. Over 450 golfers of all age groups are participating in the reputed event over four rounds, out of which 230 golfers have finished their rounds after the second day.

The Tolly Cup is one of Kolkata’s oldest club events that many golfers in and around the city of Kolkata look forward to participate in. A total of 106 golfers participated in the first round.

The leaders in the 9- holes category are as follows:

Sanjay Singh Roy, N.V Mansata, and IP Singh Roy (31)

The leading scores in the 18- holes category are as follows:
Vishal Sahay: 5-under 65
Debashis Sur: 4-under 66
Trishit Mazumdar and Ajay Mishra:1-under 69 and tied third.

The second round saw a total of 115 golfers teeing off.

The leading scores in the 18-holes category after the second day are as follows:
Vishal Sahay: 5-under 65
Debashis Sur: 4-under 66
Jaidev Singh, Trishit Mazumdar, Vikash Agarwal, and Ajay Mishra: 1-under 69.

Golf captain Mr. H.S Bindra says, “’This is a marquee event for Kolkata where members from all the golfing clubs participate along with outstation golfers”.

With the third and the fourth round scheduled on December 14 and December 15, anticipation builds as the golfers prepare to battle for the championship.
