Guntas Kaur Sandhu takes a lead after the first round of the IGU Gujarat Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Kensville Golf Resort, Ahmedabad, from April 9 to April 11.
Hitting four birdies, Guntas Kaur Sandhu of Chandigarh scored a 2-under 70 after the first round concluded on April 6, and leads the Combined categories of Ladies & A & B Girls, A&B Girls Combined categories, as well as B Girls.
Haryana’s Anvvi Dahhiya scored a 1-under 71 and lay second in Ladies & A&B Girls, and A&B Girls categories.
Gujarat’s Esther Lobo scored a level par and is laying third in the Ladies & A&B Girls Combined category.
Delhi’s Keya Badugu scored a 75.
Haryana’s Ceerat Kang, and Gujarat’s Janneya A. Dasanniee scored a 76, after the first round concluded.
Meanwhile, Karnataka’s Saanvi Somu and Maharashtra’s Aradhana Manikandan shot a 74, and lay jointly tied third in Category A&B Girls.
Haryana’s Mehak Lohan and Telangana’s Sanvi Avender Bandaru shot a 78, and lay tied second in Category B girls, followed by Goa’s Rashi Mishra, who lay tied fourth at a first round score of 79.

 

Ojaswini Saraswat: Leader, C Girls

Meanwhile, Rajasthan golfer Ojaswini Saraswat shot a 76, and is leading Category C Girls, followed by Haryana’s Teesta Singh Sikarwar, who lay second at a score of 80. Telangana’s Bhavika Krishnan Unni and Karnataka’s Aida Thimmaiah jointly lay third at a score of 81.
The second round of the IGU Gujarat Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025 is scheduled to be held on Thursday, April 10.
