Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh (73, 66) lit up the Panchkula Golf Club on Wednesday with a superb 6-under 66, climbing to the top of the leaderboard at the IGU Northern India Amateur Golf Championship 2026.

Harjai’s two-day aggregate of 139 gave him a slender one-shot advantage over Punjab’s Gurmanjit Singh Dhillon (69, 71), who carded a composed 71 to stay firmly in contention at 140.

West Bengal’s Anshul Mishra (72, 70) followed close behind, producing a steady 70 to secure third place at 142.
Delhi’s Anas Khan (71, 72) sits fourth at 143, while Punjab’s Vishavjeet Singh (75, 71) and Delhi’s Savdeep Kadian (75, 71) matched scores of 71 to share fifth at 146.

A group of four golfers, Uttar Pradesh’s Vinamra Anand (73, 74) and Parth Raman Sood (73, 74), Punjab’s Kuldeep Singh Dhesi (73, 74), and Haryana’s Dilawar Singh (73, 74) are all tied seventh at 147.

Six players, including Delhi’s Yuvrajbir Singh Sodhi (72, 76) and Deepak Yadav (72, 76), Haryana’s Ribhav Verma (72, 76), Punjab’s Ranvir Singh Pandher (72, 76) and Sagar Uppal (72, 76), and Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla (72, 76), all finished on 148, rounding off the top ten after Round Two.
