Nasa Hataoka and Cassie Porter co-lead after the second round of the LPGA Blue Bay Open 2025, which is being held at the Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course, Hainan Island, China, from March 6 to March 9.

Japanese golfer Nasa Hataoka scored a 6-under66 on the second round after shooting a 1-under 71 on the first round. Australian golfer Cassie Porter shot a 4-under 68 in the second round after hitting a 3-under 69 in the first round. At a second-round total of 7-under 137, Hataoka and Porter co-lead after the second round concluded on March 7.

Japanese golfer Rio Takeda maintained a consistent performance. After hitting a 3-under 69 over two consecutive rounds, she lay third with a second-round total of 6-under 138.

Meanwhile, in the first round, Japanese golfer Ayaka Furue, Korean golfer A Lim Kim, and American golfer Auston Kim scored a 4-under 68 and jointly led the scoreboard.

A group of golfers including Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul, America’s Kristen Gillman, Mexico’s Gaby Lopez, Japan’s Rio Takeda, Korea’s Ina Yoon and Mi Hyang Lee, China’s Shuying Lee, and Australia’s Cassie Porter lay tied fourth at 3-under 69.

The third round of the Blue Bay Open 2025 is scheduled to be held tomorrow, on March 8, Saturday.
