Heena Kang and Kaya Daluwatte take first round lead from their respective categories in the IGU All India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship, which is being held at the East point Golf Club, Vishakhapatnam, from December 17 to December 20.

Haryana’s Heena Kang shot a 1-under 71, and secured lead in Ladies as well as Ladies & A & B Girls Combined categories.

Sri Lanka golfer Kaya Daluwatte shot a 2-over 74 in the first round, and secured lead in A&B Girls category, and second position in the Ladies & A & B Girls category.

Maharashtra golfer Anuradha Chaudhuri scored a 75, and finished third after the first round.

West Bengal golfer Shinjini Mukherjee shot a 78 in the first round to finished second in Ladies category, while Gujarat golfer Esther Marie Fernandes Lobo scored an 80 and finished third in Ladies category after the first round.

Maharashtra golfer Anuradha Chaudhuri, Punjab golfer Mannat Brar and Haryana golfer Anvvi Dahhiya tied second after the first round at a score of 75. Uttar Pradesh golfer Zara Anand and Odisha golfer Kashika Mishra finished tied third, at a score of 76.

Chandigarh golfer Guntas Kaur Sandhu scored the leading score of 78 in B Boys. Goa’s Rashi Mishra scored a 79 and finished second after the first round, followed by Delhi’s Ahaana Kashyap scored an 80, and finished third in B Girls.
