India’s first TARS Rules Official couple, Prosenjit Bhattacharjee and Pratibha Bhattacharjee, are celebrated figures in Indian golf who have made a remarkable transition from IT careers to full-time golf referees since 2020. They reside at the renowned Zion Hills Golf Course and travel across India to officiate golf tournaments and championships.
A special aspect of their journey is their introduction to the Rules of Golf, guided by Mr. Paramjit Singh, the current Tournament Director of the Indian Golf Union. Their dedication and expertise have earned them wide recognition, including being honoured by the Indian Golf Union as the country’s first TARS-qualified (Technical Rules and Amateur Status) officiating couple.
