The R&A Junior Open was held from the 15^th-17^th of July 2024 at the Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, Scotland. Young golfers from all countries that are affiliated with The R&A can compete in this event. It’s a prestigious tournament closely tied to The Open, traditionally held on a course near the Open’s location.

Both Kartik Singh and Zara Anand from India impressed at the Junior Open! Kartik held his ground, shooting even par for the entire tournament and claiming a strong 6th place finish. Zara also played well, tying for 14th place with a total score of 13 over par. South Korea dominated the Junior Open with Seonghyeon AN claiming victory in the boys category and Hyosong Lee taking the top spot in the girls category.
