Justin Rose (-17) has set the tone at the Farmers Insurance Open after two rounds at Torrey Pines, following up his spectacular opening -10 with a composed -7 to hold a commanding lead. Seamus Power (-13) is his closest challenger, staying consistent with rounds of -7 and -6. Behind them, Max McGreevy (-11) and Joel Dahmen (-11) share third place, with Dahmen’s remarkable -9 in Round 2 standing out as one of the day’s best performances.

Si Woo Kim (-10) sits in fifth, just one shot behind the chasing duo, while a tightly packed group at -9 keeps the leaderboard competitive. Michael Thorbjornsen (-9) and Ryo Hisatsune (-9) both delivered steady play across two rounds, while Maverick McNealy (-9) cooled off after a strong start, and Sahith Theegala (-9) matched the consistency to join the cluster.

With Rose holding a four-shot advantage, the weekend promises plenty of drama as the chasing pack looks to close the gap. Power remains within striking distance, and Dahmen’s surge has added intrigue to the mix. With several players tightly bunched at -9, the final two rounds are set up for an exciting battle to determine who can challenge Rose’s dominance and lift the trophy at Torrey Pines.
