The all-important semi-finals of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Championship were held at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) on Saturday, 18th May 2024. The first semi-final was between Arjun Singh of West Bengal and Kanav Chauhan of Uttar Pradesh. Kanav Chauhan defeated the local golfer with scores of 3 & 1 to book a spot in the finals. The second semi-final was a close contest between Manoviraj Shekhawat of Rajasthan and Manoj S of Karnataka, just edged in favor of Manoviraj Shekhawat with a scoreline of 2 & 1. The finals will be played over 36 holes between Kanav Chauhan and Manoviraj Shekhawat on Sunday, 19th May, to decide who emerges as the champion of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Championship. We expect a fierce and competitive final as both players are immensely talented and would not leave any stone unturned to clinch the trophy and bring it home.
