Kartik Singh and Aditya Misra clinch victory in their respective categories in the IGU All India Junior Boys Championship 2024, that was being held at the Karnataka golf association, Bengaluru, from December 3 to December 6.
Kartik Singh, the overnight leader for the four successive rounds, scored a 1-under 71 in the fourth round, and with an impressive total score of 13-under 275, won A&B Boys as well as B Boys.
Kartik was being chased by Chandigarh’s Krish Chawla, and Karnataka’s Angad Singh. Krish scored a 3-under 69, his personal best in this tournament, and Angad scored a 2-under 70, and both tied second in A&B Boys at a total of 4-under 284, after the final round ended.
Karnataka’s Aditya J. Kamath (80-72-71-71) scored a total of 294 and finished second in B Boys, followed by Haryana’s Arjunveer Shishir (71-75-74-78), who finished third in B Boys with a total score of 298.
Aditya Mishra: Winner in C Boys
The participants of C Boys played three rounds, after which, Delhi golfer Aditya Misra (75-76-71) clinched victory in C Boys with a total score of 222.
Aranyak Chakraborty: Runner Up in C Boys
West Bengal golfer Aranyak Chakraborty (79-72-73) played great rounds of golf throughout the tournament and finished second in C Boys at a total score of 224. He was also placed best among the West Bengal golfers who participated in the IGU All India Junior Boys Golf Championship 2024.
Aranyak was chased by Maharashtra golfer Priaan Kantawala (77-74-74) who finished third in C Boys with a total score of 225.
