Keya Badugu takes lead after the first round of the IGU East India Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, that is being held at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, Kolkata, from May 7 to May 9.
Delhi’s Keya Badugu shot an even par score of 70 in the first round, taking a lead in the Combined Ladies & A&B Girls category.
A team of golfers including Delhi’s Smriti Bhargav, Tamil Nadu’s Ananthi Vivek, Haryana’s Anvvi Dahhiya, and Karnataka’s Ayushi Dutta shot a 73, and jointly lay second in the Ladies & A&B Girls category.
Karnataka’s Keerthana Rajeev Nair and Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu lay jointly tied sixth in the Combined Ladies & A & B Girls category with a score of 74.
Meanwhile, Haryana’s Anvvi Dahhiya and Karnataka’s Ayushi Dutta jointly lead the Combined A&B Girls category at a score of 73, followed by Karnataka’s Keerthana Rajeev Nair and Chandigarh’s Guntas Kaur Sandhu, who jointly lay fourth at a score of 74.
Guntas Kaur Sandhu also leads B Girls, followed by Maharashtra’s Rabab Kahlon and Haryana’s Mehak Lohan, who lay second and third in B Girls, at scores of 75 and 77 respectively.
Rajasthan’s Ojaswini Saraswat scored a 73 in the first round, and is leading C Girls, followed by Telangana’s Bhavika Krishnan Unni and Karnataka’s Aida Thimmaiah, who scored 77 and 79 respectively.
