England’s Liz Young clinched victory at the 16th Hero Women’s Indian Open, finishing one shot ahead with a 2-under par total of 286. The 42-year-old, in her 15th year as a pro, secured her second Ladies European Tour title amid a challenging course at DLF Golf and Country Club.

After starting the final round one shot behind the leaders, Young made a crucial birdie on the 15th and took the lead when Belgium’s Manon De Roey bogeyed the 17th. Despite a tense finish that saw her hit her third shot into the water on the 18th, she managed a bogey to secure the win.

De Roey, along with Singapore’s Shannon Tan, France’s Agathe Sauzon, and New Zealand’s Momoka Kobori, tied for second at 1-under.

Among Indian players, amateur Mannat Brar was the top finisher, ending T11 with a score of 4-over par. Pranavi Urs and Hitaashee Bakshi both finished T15 at 6-over, while Diksha Dagar struggled with a final score of 12-over, finishing T38. This year, only nine of the 27 Indian pros and amateurs made the cut, marking a decrease from previous years, highlighting the increased difficulty of the course.
