The Protouch Golf Academy hosted the Long Shot Competition, as the 1088 Skills Competition, on Sunday, August 17th. Participants competed across three categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Advika Agarwal and Kiaan Chakraborty: Winner and Runner Up, Beginners’ category.

Advika Agarwal won the Beginners’ category after playing two rounds. Kiaan Chakraborty finished second.

Aativeer Jain: Winner, Intermediate category.

Playing two rounds, Aativeer Jain won the Intermediate category after a play off with Ujaan Chakraborty.

Ujaan Chakraborty and Khushi Baid: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Intermediate category.

Whilst Ujaan finished second, Khushi Baid came third.

Aryaveer Agarwal and Parth Narayan Sahgal: Winner and Runner Up, Advanced category.

Meanwhile, Aryaveer Agarwal won the Advanced category with a point over Parth Narayan Sahgal, who finished second.

Parth Narayan Sahgal, runner up in the Advanced category, said, “I used to play the Skills Competition years ago, maybe 4-5 years ago? But wow! The level of competition has never been better. I am glad I have been able to win”.

Khushi Baid, second runner up in the Intermediate category, said, “My last performances in the Skills Competition has not been very impressive. I’m glad that I could win something today”.

All the winners and runners up went home flaunting their medals, waiting eagerly for the 1089 Chipping in the Ring skills competition, which is going to be held on Sunday, August 24.
