Kolkata, the Tollygunge Club: Mohit Balasubramaniam of Telangana leads the first day of the IGU’s West Bengal Junior Boys Golf Championship 2022 at the Tollygunge Club with a score of one under 69, one shot better than Haryana’s Arjun Singh Bhatia and Punjab’s Manjot Singh, in category A. Among the Category B boys, Noida’s Kanav Chauhan outscored everyone in his group with a score of 69, putting Mohit and Kanav in joint first place for the day. Pritish Singh Karayat, a Delhi native, finished second with a score of one over 71.
The tournament began today at Kolkata’s Tollygunge Club. The tournament is a national-level golf event for junior boys from all over the country. This competition had over 60 participants who were chosen based on their merit. The tournament will come to an end on November 14. Let us hope for the best, that someone will beat everyone and take the top spot on the leaderboard after round two tomorrow.
