Neil Jolly maintains lead in the second round of the IGU Southern India Junior Boys Golf Championship 2025, which is being held at the Coimbatore Golf Club, from May 27 to May 30.
Overnight leader in A&B Boys Combined category, Chandigarh golfer Neil Jolly had a difficult second round in which he scored a 1-over 73. With a second-round score of 1-under 143, Neil Jolly maintained lead after the second round concluded on May 28.
West Bengal’s Varish Mohta maintained a consistency in his game. Scoring 74 in two consecutive rounds, Varish lay second in A&B Boys Combined category at a second-round total score of 148. Varish also leads Category B Boys with a second-round total score of 148.
Chandigarh’s Harjai Milkha Singh (75-74) and West Bengal’s Anshul Mishra (74-75) lay tied third in A&B Boys Combined category at a second-day total score of 149.
In Category B Boys, overnight leader Varish Mohta was chased by Haryana golfers Shaurya Dagar (79-72) and Jaibir Singh Kang (80-74), who lay second and third in B Boys at second-round totals of 151 and 154 respectively.
Meanwhile, the participants of C Boys, who will play 54 holes over three consecutive rounds, played their first round today, on May 28. Karnataka’s Adit Veeramachaneni scored a 2-over 74 in the first round, and took lead in C Boys, followed by Haryana’s Siddhant Sharma, who lay second in C Boys at a score of 78.
A group of golfers including Punjab’s Sohrab Singh Talwar, Telangana’s Vivaan Pinnapureddy, and Delhi’s Krishnav Gupta lay tied third in C Boys at a score of 84.
