The North East Amateur Masters 2025, a key event on the Feeder Tour circuit, returns this year with the same valued sponsors supporting the championship. This edition once again brings together the finest amateur golfers from the region and across the country at the scenic Rhino Environment Park & Training Area in Assam.

The North East Amateur Masters 2025 is the 12th Leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, with the practice round scheduled on December 5, and will be held from December 6 to December 7.

Above 31 amateur, senior and ladies golfers, divided into the following age categories will be seen participating over two consecutive rounds.

  1. Amateur (14-34 years)
  2. Mid-Amateur (35-54 years)
  3. Senior (55-64 years)
  4. Super Senior (Above 65 years)
  5. Ladies (Above 14 years)

All the participants will be seen playing a total of 36 holes over two consecutive rounds. The format of scoring to be followed for the tournament is Individual Strokeplay.

Organised under the guidance of the BGA, the championship continues to strengthen its role in developing golf talent among amateur, senior and ladies golfers all over the country, especially in the North East.

Speaking about the event, Anil Bhargava, President, Bengal Golf Association (BGA), shared his appreciation for the continued support and growing participation, and said, “This tournament will open the gates to the North East for Golf to take off in this region. Wishing all the best to all the junior and amateur and senior golfers”.

The North East Junior & Amateur Masters has grown steadily over the years, offering a competitive platform for young and emerging golfers. The event plays an important role in promoting structured junior and amateur participation, strengthening the Feeder Tour pathway, and inspiring new talent in the region.

The organisers look forward to another successful edition showcasing discipline, sportsmanship, and the rising standard of golf in the North East.

The IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour continues to foster and showcase the promising future stars of Indian golf. The tour’s education partner is the Champ for Life Academy. Bisleri has come in as the water partner for this season. Keventer, Eastern India’s largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and is providing the players with juices and milkshakes. Additionally, Breathe.golf, and Indian Golf News (IGN) are the media partners for the tour. The tour is managed by Protouch Sports.
