Overnight leader Kartik Singh Maintains lead in succession for two rounds at the IGU All India Junior Boys Golf Championship, being held at the Karnataka Golf Association, Bengaluru, from December 3 to December 6.
Haryana golfer Kartik scored a 4-under 68 on the second round. With a total of 7-under 137, he finished as the lead in Category A&B Boys as well as B Boys.
Karnataka golfer Veer Ganapathy scored a 3-under 69 on the second round and finished second at a total of 2-under 142. Chandigarh golfer Krish Chawla and Maharashtra golfer Armaan Gawde finished tied third with a total score of 1-under 143 on the second round.
Haryana golfer Arjunveer Shishir scored a 75 in the second round, and finished second in B Boys with a total of 2-over 146. Haryana golfer Prince Bainsla scored an even par in the second round and finished third in B Boys with a total of 149 on the second round.
The participants of Category C Boys played the first round on December 4. Delhi golfer Aditya Misra scored a 3-over 75 in the first round and finished lead in C Boys. Punjab golfer Sohrab Singh Talwar, Gujarat golfer Aarnav Patel and Maharashtra golfer Priaan Kantawala jointly finished second at a 77 in the first round in C Boys.
West Bengal golfer Aranyak Chakraborty was best placed in the IGU All India Junior Boys Golf Championship. Aranyak finished fifth on C Boys on the first round with a score of 79.
