The 21st Inter School Golf Championship 2025 will be held from October 21st to 23rd at the Tollygunge Club, Kolkata. The event begins with a practice and qualifying round on October 21st, the qualifying round will be for La Martinier School will take place which will determine their top seedings which will help in making the pairings accordingly, followed by tournament rounds on October 22nd and 23rd. Over 100 junior golfers from over 15 schools across India are expected to participate. As a part of this championship, the organisers conducted Inter School skills competition exclusively for NGO schools.

Mr Ashok Goenka of NG industries has been supporting the Champion for Life project, where over 500 children are given golf lessons along with food and education. Through golf these children learn life skills and become employable. The Inter School competition between NGOs was sponsored by NG industries. The total participation in the Inter School crossed 300 children.

Players will compete across the following six categories:
• Overall Category – Under 9 Years
• Overall Category – Under 13 Years
• Overall Category – Over 13 Years
• Girls – Under 9 Years
• Girls – Under 13 Years
• Girls – Over 13 Years

The format includes a Two Ball Scramble over 18 holes on Day 1 (9 holes for Under-9 categories), followed by Fourball Betterball Strokeplay over 18 holes on Day 2 (9 holes for Under-9 categories). Individual Strokeplay is available for solo entrants, and qualifying rounds will determine final team pairings for non-nominated players.

Over the years, the championship has served as a host to several prominent Indian golfers including Siddhi Kapoor, Viraj Madappa, Udayjit Bhalotia, Sandeep Yadav, Karan Verma, and Anshul Mishra, all of whom have played in past editions of this tournament.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony will take place on October 23rd at 2:30 PM at Veedol Hall, Tollygunge Club. Dignitaries attending include Mr. Songit Bagrodia, President of Tollygunge Club; Mr. Hitesh Gurtu, Golf Captain of Tollygunge Club; Mrs. Sriranjani Joshi, Director of George Group of Colleges and Mr. Anil Bhargava, President of the Bengal Golf Association.
