Ribhav Verma won 3&1 over Ayaan Gupta in the first semi final match of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Golf Championship at Golmuri Golf Club. In the second semi final match, Pritish Singh Karayat won 2&1 over Vinamra Anand to progress to the finals.
Due to a local tournament scheduled at Golmuri today and Sunday, the Finals have been split across two days to preserve the 36-hole format of the final. The first 18 holes were played today, with the remaining 18 to be contested tomorrow.
After the first 18 holes, Pritish Singh Karayat is 3-up over Ribhav Verma.
