The first round of the Leg 1 of the IGU East Zone Junior Feeder Tour began at the prestigious Tollygunge Club, on February 26. the budding golfers who were divided into 6 age categories, namely C Boys and C Girls (11-12 years), D Boys and D Girls (9-10 years), E Boys and E Girls (7-8 years), F Boys & Girls (Under 7 years) and a Special Category, played an exciting first round.
Netr Shah and Josh Chatterjee: C Boys
In Category C Boys, Netr Shah led with a 90, followed by Josh Chatterjee, who lay second in C Boys. Nandini Rathee and Myra Kaur Chandok: C Girls
Nandini Rathee scored a 95 and led in Category C Girls, followed by Myra Kaur Chandok, who lay second in C Girls after the first round.
Ayaan Mimani and Dhruv D. Patodia: D Boys
Ayaan Mimani led D Boys at a score of 93, followed by Dhruv D. Patodia, who lay second at a score of 99.
Aarya Jhunjhunwala and Anwita Sinha: D Girls
Aarya Jhunjhunwala led D Girls with 96, followed by Anwita Sinha, who lay second at a 109.
The participants of E Boys, E Girls, F Boys & Girls, and Special Categories played nine holes over the round.
Ayaansh Prasad and Ankit Mondol: E Boys
In E Boys, the duo of Aayansh Prasad and Ankit Mondol jointly led with 48, after playing nine holes.
Anishka Agarwal: F Boys & Girls
Anishka Agarwal led F Boys & Girls with 65 over nine holes.
Rajdeep Paul: Special Category
Rajdeep Paul led the Special Category at a score of 45 in the first round.
The second round is scheduled to be held tomorrow, on February 27, with great anticipation building up among the budding golfers, eager to play an even better second round.
