The event was quite a marvelous sprint which took place on the grounds of the Tollygunge Club, from 30th September to 1st October 2023. The students of our academy were thrilled and had a wonderful experience these two days. At first, the captains of each team were decided, and they were asked to choose a vice-captain of their choice. Then the rest of the team was made according to their skills despite their age.

The first day of the Skills League started with Samurais competing with Tigers and Giants competing with Falcons. They went serially starting with the chipping, then moving on to small basket, rings, and long basket, and then finishing off with putting. There of 2 rounds conducted of these short games. Each game had a member of the organizing committee to avoid any conflict and conclude the games smoothly. After completing all the events efficiently, the teams left hoping to play better than the present day.

The second day of the Skills League teed off with positive hype. The teams shouted out their names making the sportsman spirit high enough to start the game. The same sequence was applied just like the previous day, and this time since all the students were aware of the rules and flow, everyone enjoyed the play more. Even the guardians were involved so much that one person could not help himself, so he came forward and hit a practice shot in the rings.

After the 3rd and 4th matches were over, the results were announced. 3rd place was secured by TEAM FAIRWAY FALCONS, making the team Protouch Tigers in 4th position. A while later, the finals between team CFL Samurais and team Golftrade Giants started. What a match it was between them, all the players in both the teams played admirably. But in the end, there could be only one winning team. With a good lead, the winner of the Skills League 4.1 was TEAM CFL SAMURAIS.

The winning team was given a trophy of almost 36 inches and the runners-up, that is TEAM GOLFTRADE GIANTS, were given Salvers. During the prize distribution ceremony, the announcement of the upcoming skills league made everyone excited to participate and win.

This skill league is aimed at focusing on everyone’s skills, techniques, and applications so that they can be evaluated and improved for their performance in the upcoming matches.
