The Protouch Golf Academy hosted Putting Competition, which is the 1087 Skills Competition, on Sunday, August 10. Participants competed across three categories – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced – with the challenge focused on completing three holes in the least number of shots.

Aarya Jhunjhunwala: Winner, Intermediate category.

Playing two rounds, Aarya Jhunjhunwala won the Intermediate category.

Jayansh Lakhotia and Aativeer Jain: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Intermediate category

While Jayansh Lakhotia finished second in the Intermediate category, Aativeer Jain finished third.

Aranyak Chakraborty: Winner, Advanced category.

Meanwhile, Aranyak Chakraborty won the Advanced category with the highest points.

Aativeer Jain, runner up in the Intermediate category, said, “Today’s putting challenge was not very hard. Though I missed two putts, I performed better than before”.

Aranyak Chakraborty, winner in the Advanced category, said, “I wait for the Putting competition to happen every month. These competitions are more like friendly matches but competitive as well, and make me practice putting properly with the best of the lot from the Academy”.

The day ended with all the junior golfers going home with a smiling face, holding their medals, eagerly waiting to participate in the Long Shot competition, which is the 1088 Skills Competition, next Sunday, on August 17.
