The Protouch Golf Academy hosted Putting competition, which is the 1081 Skills Competition, on Sunday, June 22. Participants competed across three categories—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—with the challenge focused on completing three holes in the least number of shots.
Vivan Jalan, Rishi Varshney and Kiaan Chakraborty tied for the first place in the Beginners’ category after the two rounds.

Ujaan Chakraborty: Winner, Intermediate category.
Ujaan Chakraborty won the Intermediate category after playing two rounds.
Ainesh Roy Chowdhury, Yugaansh Agarwal, Ayaansh Prasad, and Khushi Baid tied for the second place. Tight competition unfolded during the two rounds of play-off that followed.

Ainesh Roy Chowdhury and Khushi Baid: Runner Up and Second Runner Up, Intermediate category.
Ultimately, Ainesh finished second in the Intermediate category. Khushi Baid finished third.

Mannan Agarwal and Aranyak Chakraborty: Runner Up and Winner, Advanced category.
Aranyak Chakraborty won the Advanced category, followed by Mannan Agarwal, who finished second.
Rishi Varshney, joint runner up in the Beginners’ category, said, “I had no plans of playing today. Thanks to my coach, who asked me to play today, and I won something. But seeing my competitors, both seniors and juniors in the game, I have realized I have to work harder, and focus more on the tips that my coach gives me. Only then can I win these Skills Competition with a better score, and slowly start to do better when I hit the course”.
Mannan Agarwal, runner up in the Advanced category, said, “Today’s round was tough. Not only was the round challenging, but also there was a bit of pressure on me, especially because I was playing with a good player like Aranyak. But overall, it went well. I am looking forward to taking part in the Skills Competition next week”.
The day ended with all the budding golfers returning to their homes with their medals, and with a motivation to keep performing better in the days to come. As they received their medals, the children were seen to be eager to participate in the Bunker Shot competition, which is the 1082 Skills Competition.
